Summary:
This publication summarizes the NMP/CNMP changes necessary when distillers grains are included in a beef ration. The document also discusses the subsequent implications to public policy what it means to the producers and regulators. The differences, as diet changes, in excreted manure, land requirements, labor and equipment costs, and the fertilizer value of manure was evaluated for changing scenarios.
