The Heartland Water Quality Coordination Initiative's Nutrient and Pesticide Management (NPM) Team will host an "Impact Assessment and Achievements in Water Quality Protection"  Workshop at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center, located at the Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, NE. This workshop will be held June 17-19, 2008.

This workshop is a follow up to a research roundtable which was held January 23-24, 2008. The Impact Assessment Roundtable consisted of 34 participants from IA, KS, MO, and NE. These participants included university researchers and state and federal agency personnel. The NPM team hosted a similar Roundtable in 2004 regarding Phosphorus BMPs, Nitrogen BMPs in 2005, Pesticides in 2006, and Targeting BMPs in 2007. Each of these roundtables were followed by a summer workshop.
